Hi Marmora Martial Arts Club Family,

I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the spring weather.

As we head into the final stretch of our season, we have a lot of exciting events coming up over the next few weeks. Please take a moment to review the important dates below and mark them on your calendar.

Family & Friends Open House Martial Arts Demonstration
Wednesday, May 20 | 5:30–7:00pm

Family and friends are invited to join us for a special Open House and Martial Arts Demonstration. This is a chance for our students to showcase the skills they have been working on throughout the year, along with a few special demonstrations.

We will have chairs set up so everyone can sit, watch, and cheer on our martial artists. It should be a fun evening for students, families, and friends.

Spring Belt & Stripe Testing
May 25 – June 17 (during regular class times)

Beginning the week of May 25th and 27th, students will begin examinations during their regular classes. Testing will run over three weeks.

Please make every effort to have your child attend all examination classes so they can complete their testing and move forward to their next level.

Students will be tested according to their age, ability, and current level. I always look forward to seeing the commitment, effort, and martial arts spirit students bring to testing season — including the famous fight against the bags, where students get to show their determination in action.

Belt, Stripe & Certificate Presentation
Monday, June 15 | 6:00–7:00pm

All family and friends are invited to attend our Belt and Stripe Presentations as we celebrate our students’ hard work and achievements from the season.

Come out and support your martial artist as they receive their belts, stripes, and certificates.

(Students who are unable to attend on June 15th will receive their awards before our party on June 17th.)

End of Season Party Games Class
Wednesday, June 17 | 5:30pm Start

We will wrap up the season with our annual Party Games Class — always a fun way to finish the year together.

Thank you for being part of our martial arts family and for all the support you give your students throughout the season. I’m looking forward to a strong finish and celebrating everyone’s progress over the coming weeks.
