The Family and Friends Open House 

Get ready for an exciting event. Our Children’s and Youth and Little Dragons will be putting on a demonstration showcasing the skill and discipline learned in the martial arts class. The demonstrations are an opportunity for friends and especially family to come out and see the great stuff that our kids can do. There will be all sorts of fantastic things to see Open House Demonstrations will occur during regular class time on May 13th (Little Dragons) May 14th (Children’s and Youth)

Mark your calendar and bring  as many people as you can!

The 8 Wing Martial arts Club Tournament 

Saturday May 3rd. 

The Marmora Martial Arts Club will be focusing some class time each week on preparing for the tournament to support those who would like to attend.

This is a very good-natured and fun tournament for a first time competitor.

To participate your child will need a uniform and belt. That can be a full Gi or a plain black or white t-shirt (or club shirt) and pants with a belt.

Club Sparring equipment will be available to borrow for the sparring division. If you have sparring equipment please bring it along

Mouth guards will be mandatory for Karate Sparing. If you have mouth guards from other sports you can use them. I can get mouth guards with a case for $10.  They can also be purchased very inexpensively from stores like Canadian Tire, Sport Check or Walmart.

High school students can volunteer to help at the tournament and will get hours credited to their mandatory volunteer hours for graduation.
