Happy New Year to everyone. I hope you all had a great holiday season and are feeling ready to get back to training.
Classes will be starting up again on January 5th and 7th.
Open House Classes
January 5th and 7th will be open house classes for all programs.
At this time, there are limited spaces available in the Wednesday Little Dragons (ages 5–7) and Wednesday Rising Dragons (ages 7–13) classes.
For new Rising Dragons students, I strongly encourage considering the Monday class, as there is currently more room in that program.
The Little Dragons program is nearly full and will be moving to a waiting list once capacity is reached.
New Monday Night Tai Chi & Kung Fu Program
There has been a lot of interest in an evening Tai Chi and Kung Fu class, so I am pivoting the Monday evening time slot to offer this new program.
This class will progressively build balance, mobility, and core strength, while also developing practical self-defence skills, without the higher cardio intensity of the Jiu Jitsu classes.
If you’ve been wanting to train but feel overwhelmed by Jiu Jitsu, this is an excellent option to fit into your week. Think physiotherapy-style movement, but engaging, progressive, and practical.
January Free for Parents & Guardians
All parents and guardians of children enrolled in our programs are invited to train for free for the month of January.
You’re welcome to try the new Monday Tai Chi & Kung Fu class or join the Wednesday Jiu Jitsu class. This is a great opportunity to experience training firsthand at no cost.
Martial arts training is one of the best ways to add meaningful fitness to your week while building real-world strength, mobility, and confidence. It can be hard to start and maintain a fitness routine — weekly classes provide structure, guidance, and a supportive community.
I’m looking forward to seeing everyone soon.
